Tax Shelter Plans for EmployeesEmployees may participate in Tax Shelter Plans. The Employee Benefits Office adds and removes deductions for employees. The Employee Benefits Office cannot give advice on any particular plan. Employees are encouraged to contact the different agents when they have specific questions.
Employees can put the maximum in a 403B and in a 457 plan. They are treated differently. For example, an employee over 50 could put in a total of $31,000.00.
