| Note: Currently, Knox County Schools only provides accounts to employees, students, and parents of students. Logging in allows the user to customize their interaction with the KCS website.
The Personal Dashboard 2.0 provides a one-entry to
access everything on your SchoolFusion website that requires a login. The Personal Dashboard displays on the lower left side of the website after you have logged in to SchoolFusion. Your status and permissions settings, combined with the SchoolFusion options that your District or School has selected, determines what will appear on your personal dashboard.
Parents, Teachers and Students will all see slightly different options as they log in. This page provides a brief descripton of the features available with the newly updated Personal Dashboard 2.0 version.
Users whose status is set to Parent will see the My Family
link. A teacher or website administrator could also see this link if they have the parent status selected as well as Faculty/Staff because staff members may also be parents of students.
For Faculty/Staff and Teachers
Faculty and Staff see the Create
Links. The Create link allows the Faculty/Staff Member to add content to their Multimedia Blog as well as to any FusionPages they administer. The Reports link provides access to information on Members, Discussion Topics, Analytics, Edit Configuration, and Grades (if activated.)
Students will see an additional name under their Welcome message. The A.k.a. is referring to their Code Name for Student Participation or commenting. Students are the only status type that will also see the FusionHome link.

|Parents or Students
The Calendar link combines all your events, meetings and assignments into your personal calendar based on your group memberships. You can also include your personal appointments. Your personal calendar is only visible to you. All users (administrators, faculty/staff members, parents and students) have a Calendar link.
The My Files link allows you to upload documents to access later. They can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection. All logged-in users have the My Files link.
The Message Center link can be available to all users. My Message Center is where teachers can message teachers and students, and students can message teachers. Students cannot message other students. For complete information on My Message Center, please see the My Message Center under the FusionTools section.
The Multimedia Blog link is only available for Faculty/ Staff Members who have activated their FusionTools 2.0 profile.
Personal Settings is where the user can change their password and personalize some of their account information and with a faculty or staff account, create a profile.
The Profile link is only available for Faculty/ Staff Members who have activated their FusionTools 2.0 profile. This will take users directly to their Profile page.
Teachers can click once to add information to their pages or to create a blog or discussion topic for their students.
The FusionPages section allows you to view and enter all of the FusionPages where you are a member or the Administrator.
The Teachers flyout menu provides direct links to the Profile page of any Faculty/ Staff Member where the user is a member of any of their FusionPages.
Parents will only see the names of the Faculty/ Staff Members who administer FusionPages that the parent is a member of. Parents will need to access My Family, to see the Teachers for their connected child(ren).
||The My Family link will only appear for users whose status is set as Parent. This link will allow the parent, who may also be a website administrator or teacher, to view all of their children’s classes and other student information from one location regardless of the school(s) attended. If you have problems seeing all of your children, contact the helpdesk at firstname.lastname@example.org
